Would you like to Volunteer?

 

Craigdarroch Castle has a dynamic volunteer program that sees a wide range of people sharing their time to provide visitors with the information and stories that make a visit to Craigdarroch a fun, family friendly experience.

 

Our current volunteer openings include:  cashier, gift shop, docent (museum guide) and administrative (data entry.)

 

We ask that volunteers commit to at least one 4-hour shift per week, for a minimum of 60 hours total, due to the length of time it takes to train and educate our volunteers.  In exchange we offer a robust recognition and incentives program including our annual volunteer exchange pass with all other museums in the city, semiannual social events, and additional discounts, field trips and learning opportunities.
