Your membership does make a difference!

 

Giving to The Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum Society is easy.

 

As a registered charity, all donations are tax deductible according to the Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. As one of the few museums in Canada which receives no regular Federal or Provincial government funding, we count on our donors, members and admissions to support our important work.

 

A gift to The Castle Society supports the ongoing preservation and helps us with the restoration and curatorial process. Past restoration projects include the 12-year process of removing 5 layers of institutional paint from the ceiling in the drawing room, and the recent restoration of the exterior grounds and south lawn. Future plans include work to the exterior of the castle including water-sealing the 2nd floor veranda.

Are you interested in being a bit more hands on? We are open 362 days a year and always looking for volunteer docents, cashiers and gift shop assistants to help us provide a great visitor experience.
