Craigdarroch Castle historic house museum is a "must see" on your visit to Victoria. The wealthy Dunsmuir family saga and the mansion they built is a key piece of British Columbia's history.
Sign up for one of the Vintage Craft Workshops and learn a Victorian era craft.

March Break Programs at Craigdarroch Castle.

Parents and Caregivers, if you are looking for something to do during Spring Break, bring the kids to Craigdarroch Castle.  At 10:30, 12:30 and 2:30 we will be reading Castle-themed stories in the Castle Dance Hall, over-looking all of Victoria.

At  11:30, 1:30 and 3:30 there will be special screenings of the abbreviated version of “Victoria’s Castle,” a 36-minute version of our documentary film which tells the fascinating history of Craigdarroch Castle with little-known stories about Victoria and amazing archival footage.   (Not recommended for very young children.)

All events are included with regular admission prices and no reservations are required.

Colouring Contest

Every child who visits Craigdarroch Castle during Spring Break will receive a special colouring picture. Colour it, then drop it off at the Castle or post it on our Facebook page to be entered to win 4 admission passes and a Craigdarroch Castle colouring book.

It’s a great time to come to the Castle!

Vintage Craft Series

Starting in January and going through May, we will host a series of Vintage and Victorian era craft workshops.  Check the calendar on the right hand side to see what’s coming up. Craft Course Descriptions 2013[2]
