2012 Performance Calendar

Every December Craigdarroch Castle provides visitors with more to see and hear on a self-guided tour. This year’s  musical entertainment, children’s performers and craft activities have been finalized so take a look at our December calendar to see who’s performing and come visit the Castle at Christmas.

Christmas at Craigdarroch Castle

Decorating the Castle for the Christmas season takes many hours and involves a number of staff and volunteers. Local businesses and individuals financially assist the Society with this endeavor and with their support we’re able to bring the many wonderful room displays you’ll see on your visit to the Castle.

The transformation is amazing as the rooms are presented in traditional Victorian fashion and original period toys peak out from under the Christmas trees. The decorations are on display throughout the month of December and we always offer a wide selection of music and children’s performances listed in the the 2012 performance calendar above.

 

We are closed on December 25, 26 and January 1

Christmas School tours

Teachers and can arrange for their students to have a tour of Craigdarroch guided by actors in costume. These tours are suitable for K to grade 6 and include a craft activity that the children can take home.
